Key Activities

June to December 2014

Provide Corruption Awareness Training in Yangon and 5 Field Locations for all of CARE (100+) staff in Myanmar. The training basic material and methodological orientation was provided by CARE Myanmar The training was provided in English with Myanmar translation with the inclusion of theoretic notions supported with examples, group discussions and practical exercises.

January to May 2014

Implementation and monitoring of CARE humanitarian project activities in Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships in conflict affected Rakhine State. Designed and conducted supply chain management trainings for CARE and its local partners in both Rakhine and Kaya State.

November 2013 and February 2014

Analysis of logistics procedures and ways of working including procedure’s compliance, audit trail and filing systems and develop a logistics training package. Conduct Logistics training in three CARE field locations in Rakhine and Kaya State considering the interaction between the logistics teams, Finance and Administration.

March to May 2013

Manage the implementation of the humanitarian project activities in Buthidaung and Maungdaw townships during a period of social unrest and insecurity until the organization could redeploy its staff.
