Key Activities:

2016 to Present

IPC Myanmar designs and deploy financial management, procurement and travel systems, IT tools and manuals to ensure that international standards are adopted and applied by the following Myanmar Government Departments implementing Danish funded engagements:

Sustainable Coastal Fishery (SCF) programme, implemented by Department of Fisheries, Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock (MoALI)

Myanmar Enterprise Monitoring System (MEMS), implemented by the Central Statistical Organization, MoPF.

Climate Adaptation in Coastal Communities of Myanmar (CACCM), Forest Department (FD), Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Conservation (MoNREC)

Support for the Capacity Development Fund (CDF) under the Department for Monitoring and Evaluation (DME), Ministry of Education (MoE).

Cooperation funds are channelled directly to the concerned Government Departments, IPC Myanmar team is strengthening the financial and procurement management of the recipients of those funds by harmonizing Government regulations and procedures with World Bank standards.

We are thrilled to be part of the Danish Embassy efforts to assist the Government of Myanmar reaching international standards in the near future.
